It's Nice To Help Mommy

Savannah has always wanted to help me with anything and everything. In the past her "helping" really wasn't helping, if you know what I mean. Now though, Savannah actually can help me with things. She is great at sorting clothes and bringing them to the laundry room... she is also pretty good at putting groceries away. Yesterday I found something else that Savannah can help me with. I was in the kitchen putting the clean dishes in the dishwasher away... Savannah was standing there watching and talking as I cleaned. When I got to the silverware she said, "mom, I can do that". I handed her a fork and asked her to show me where it went. Sure enough, she put it right where it goes. She then walked over and started to pull silverware out of the dishwasher and put it away in the drawer. She put every single piece of silverware away on her own and loved every minute of it. Wouldn't it be great if she is always this helpful... fingers are crossed that she will love to do her chores. In a perfect world.
