Spring!

I love spring in Texas for one reason and one reason only... bluebonnets! It's kind of silly that I get this excited about a patch of flowers... I can't help it, they are beautiful. I love that it is okay (and very common) to pull over on the side of the road like a total nut job and make your family get out of the car to take pictures in flowers. Awesome! This evening Savannah and I headed to our favorite bluebonnet patch to take some pictures. Prepare for picture overload... I had a really hard time picking my favorites to post. Enjoy the snapshots of my favorite part of Texas!

These next pictures are my favorite. Savannah kept asking me to take a picture of the two of us. Since I do not have a tripod the best I could do was to hold the camera out and see what I could get. I love that little girl so much!

This one needs to be enlarged also. This was not one of my favorites until I enlarged it and saw that there was a hummingbird in the photo. I do not even remember seeing a hummingbird the entire time we were out there. Pretty cool.
