Super Packed Weekend

This past weekend the Haynes ladies had a very full, very fun weekend. Saturday after Savannah's soccer game we headed out to the Main Street Arts Festival with some of our friends. This event was so much fun... I was worried that it might be a little too much for Savannah. Sometimes these type of things do not have enough, if any, kid activities. I was very shocked when I saw that they had a whole section just for the kids... face painting, sand art, mask making, and a whole lot more. Savannah had so much fun that she was in a great mood the rest of the day and evening while we walked around and did adult things. Seriously, all of us were so surprised by her behavior. Not that she is ever really bad... but I mean no kid is ever really as good as Savannah was Saturday. She was perfect.

Sunday we went to our first Rangers game of the season. I am going to go ahead and say that I am very lucky to have such a cool little girl. I love that she is so much fun to hang out with and I really love that our friends have fun with Savannah too. We all had such a good time at the game. Savannah is even sorta kinda starting to get into baseball (which makes mommy smile really BIG).

Towards the end of the game we found out something pretty cool and exciting. In the 8th inning we were leaving our seats to go and walk around for the rest of the game. While we were walking an usher told us that kids get to run the bases after the game and that we could go get in line now. All of us immediately said, "heck yeah" to that idea. How fun was that going to be! Thankfully Scotty was with us and willing to get out there and run those bases with Savannah. They were so cute out there... Savannah had the biggest smile on her face. Unfortunately I did not have the fancy camera or a video camera so the pictures are not the best. Sorry. Turns out that kids get to do this after every Sunday game, so next time I will be ready. Don't worry, there will be a next time... Savannah is already talking about how the next time she wants to do it alone with just the other kids. Awesome!

Heading to first
On their way to second
Almost to third
Heading home!!
