Super Bowl XLIII

Happy Super Bowl Sunday to everyone! I would like to give a shout out to Scott Guzman... last place finisher in our fantasy league... aka, the unlucky one who had to host the Super Bowl party. Thanks for your hospitality, we had a blast! Despite the fact that the Steelers won. Savannah was surprisingly well behaved. Probably because she was the center of attention the whole time. Plus, she had a buffet table full of goodies in her reach. She had several helpings of everything... especially the cookies and M&Ms. She was on a total sugar high tonight. It's no shock that she crashed the second we put her in her bed.

This is where things started to go south... our friends Mike and Missy (the Steeler fans) decided it would be cool to teach Savannah to wave a Steeler towel and shout "yeah Steelers". Every time Mike and Missy would get fired up and start waving their towels Savannah insisted on waving a towel too. As much as I hate to admit it, she was a Steeler fan today. Yikes!

Mike and Missy let little miss Savannah keep one of the towels. I thought we would get home and the towel would be thrown somewhere in her room, no big deal... it'll be quickly forgotten about. WRONG! Savannah wanted to take it to bed with her. She made me cover her up with it. What the....??!! Thanks a lot Mike and Missy...
