The Super Bowl wasn't the only big event this past weekend. On Saturday Savannah and I went to a wedding shower for yours truly... that's me... yay!! Two of my Texas girls, Michelle & Stephanie, were gracious enough to throw my shower. They worked hard for months getting everything together... and I have to say, it turned out great! I wouldn't have changed a thing. I was surrounded by friends and family... and a whole lot of wine. As usual, little miss DIVA was the center of attention. She bounced from person to person with some sort of goody in her hand at all times. Her little eyes got so big when she saw all the gifts on the table. She couldn't wait to help her mommy open everything. At one point she dropped one of the plates as she was pulling it out of the bag... it was then that she lost her gift opening privileges for the afternoon. Sorry baby girl, but nobody likes a broken gift. I know I have already told you ladies(Steph & Michelle)... but one more time won't hurt. Thank you so much for the shower! It's hard sometimes not having my Cali family and friends here to do these things for me... so I really appreciate you two filling that void. I had a really good time. Cheers... to you both!
