Let me start off by saying that Comic Con is totally 100% worth the craziness you have to deal with while there. Yes, parking is a pain... yes, it is so crowded and hard to make your way down the street... everything you have heard about the people and the costumes and the mass amounts of crap everywhere is true. With all that being said, I would deal with it all over again... that is how cool Comic Con is. I am so glad that I decided to brave the crowds of people and head on downtown and check it out. Savannah had a blast too. It is seriously like Halloween. Everywhere you looked there was someone in a costume promoting some movie or some game. All the buildings and bars downtown had been done up with huge movie or celebrity banners. There was so much to see and do... we only spent a few hours down there, so I'm sure we missed a lot. I am already dying to go back another year and spend more time seeing everything. There really is nothing else like it.
My favorite picture from the day. This guy was totally into being batman. He never broke character once.
All the different vehicles used in the Dark Knight movies were on display. So so cool.
Freaky, I know. The whole zombie thing was huge at Comic-Con. They were everywhere.
Our friend Whitney was down there working and promoting some movie. She came and hung out with us for a bit on one of her breaks.
Insanity in front of the convention center. Crossing the street while holding Savannah's hand and trying to push the stroller through the crowd at the same time was pretty difficult.
True (freaky) love. People done up like this were all over the place.
