OMG… Disney Videos Are The Best!!

I'm still sorting through the hundreds of pictures that I took while we were at Disneyland… it will probably be a few days before I get any posted here on the blog.  In the meantime, how about some videos!  Those are way more fun than pictures anyhow.

Our group selfie before our ride on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad began.  I got to sit with the two little girls… they were hilarious!!  I am so glad that I took video of them riding the ride.  Let me warn you, there is a lot of high pitched squealing… so maybe lower your volume.

The Radiator Racers ride in CARS Land was by far Ryder's favorite ride.  He almost did not get to ride it… technically he was not quite tall enough, but the worker did not really check well (lucky us).  Ryder had the biggest smile on his face the whole time he was on the ride.  Then when we got off the ride he kept telling us how awesome that ride was.

Summer Bucket List (#4)

This past Monday I left little brother at home with the grandparents and took Savannah to Disneyland(summer bucket list #4) for a special big kid day.  Uncle Ry Ry came with us, so it was pretty much double the Disney fun for her.  I'm not sure it gets and better than going to Disney land with me and Ry... we are pretty awesome.  Since we are going back to Disneyland in a couple weeks with little bro, this visit was all about riding all the rides that we won't be able to do when we have the baby with us.  Anything babyish, we skipped and plan to do with Ryder.  Savannah loved that it was all about her... no baby to hold or feed... just her and any ride she wanted.  We really had a great time.  Each time I take her to Disneyland it just gets better and better.  She remembers things from her other visits and knows which things and places are her favorite.  She is still crazy for the Dumbo ride and the Buzz ride.  Those are for sure her favorites.  Since she has grown since out last visit, she was tall enough to ride just about anything she wanted (she turned down a few that scared her).  The Star Wars ride was pretty awesome... I'm glad that she was finally tall enough for that.  We pretty much packed in everything we could into a one day visit.  We were there when the gates opened at 8a.m. and stayed until after 10p.m. ... girl was a trooper.

Uncle Ry Ry bought her an autograph book, so she is all about finding all the characters she can so she can fill that book up.

Our first stop of the day was to the newly opened Cars Land.  Truth be told, Uncle Ry Ry was dying to get to Cars Land and check everything out (it's his favorite Disney movie).  It for sure lived up to all the hype.  They recreated Radiator Springs perfectly.  The lines for everything were crazy long... because it is all new, I'm sure.  The big attraction, Radiator Springs Racers is AWESOME!  Ry took video while we were on the ride... doesn't nearly do it justice... but you can get an idea of what it's about.  One of the best rides we went on that day.

Our candid picture taken of us while on the Radiator Racers ride.  Totally wind blown.

Savannah's priority was meeting Merida from BRAVE.  Good thing we rushed over there to her area, because right after we got in line they closed off the line for the day.  That would have sucked if we missed out on meeting her.  I always love to see the girl they get to play the princesses... Disney is soooo good at finding just the right person.  Merida was so pretty and her accent was pretty dang good.

After meeting Merida, they move the kids along to another girl with a pretty impressive Scottish accent who shows you how to use a bow and arrow.  I loved that extra special little touch to the experience.

Oh, and I saved the best little bit of our day for last.  I would like to say (since some people have found this video mean) that I DID NOT FORCE Savannah to ride this ride.  She was all about it.  In fact, it wasn't until the first drop that her tune quickly changed.  She was more than tall enough (like 4 inches over minimum), and NOT the youngest kid on there.  There was another little boy who had to be a year or more younger than her and he LOVED it.  Now that you know that, you can go ahead and watch.  It is pretty dang funny.

Summer Bucket List (#14)

Last week my dad picked Savannah up and took her to see BRAVE (#14 on our summer bucket list).  I'm going to be honest, I was a little bummed that I was not going to go see it.  I have really been looking forward to it coming out for months.  Once the craziness around the movie dies down I plan to take her to see it again.  They both said that it was good.  Savannah is under strict orders to tell me nothing!  All she was allowed to tell me is if she liked it or not.  Which she did... so I'm sure she won't mind going with dear ol' mommy to see it again.

So many more still left to do.  Three weeks of our trip down... all of July still left to go.  We better get crackin'.

Cruella Deville & Her Dalmatians

My little villain did it again. Savannah managed to top last year's Maleficent with an awesome Cruella Deville outfit. I love that my sweet little girly thing loves to play the bad character. Naturally, we had to have a dalmatian or two. Ryder and our friends baby girl, Bella, dressed up as Cruella's dalmatians. The whole ensemble was fantastic! The babies were cute as could be and Savannah looked awesome! By the end of the night Savannah was convinced that every single person in the world loved her costume because strangers kept asking if their kids could take pictures with her and people kept telling her how much they loved her costume. She was so excited... she has told me that Halloween is her favorite. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for next year.

He lasted for two houses and then passed out
Eric's uncle had a huge screen up in their front yard playing Beetlejuice for all the trick or treaters to stop and watch. All the cousins sat front row in the movie seats.

End of the night... trying to get all the great grandkids to sit still for a picture with Didad... craziness.
