I forgot that I had this post all typed up and ready to go. It's a few days old, but that is alright. Last week was pretty cold and rainy and blah... but there was one day right in the middle of all that nastiness that was perfect. Out of nowhere we had a beautiful 75 degree day. As soon as I picked Savannah up from school we rushed home to change into shorts (YES!) and grab my new jogging stroller (double YES!)... and to the park we went (triple YES!). We jogged the mile loop... Savannah was a trooper... she kept up and we only had to stop a couple times for her to catch her breath. After we were done with mommy's activity we headed over to the playground so Savannah could have her fun. I even got Ryder out of the stroller and put him in the baby swings. He actually loved it. As a baby, Savannah hated those swings, so I wasn't sure what to expect with him. He just chilled there and let me push him at a decent speed. It was so nice to be out and in shorts... it really wasn't fair that the very next day it was back in the low 50's. Winter, Goodbye already.
Walking back to the car...
Savannah: "Mom, let me take a picture of you and your new stroller."
Me: "Ok. Hurry up though. Only take one."
I hand Savannah my phone and smile with the stroller. I hold my pose for a few seconds and start to wonder what is taking so long.
Me: "Savannah, are you done? What are you doing?"
Savannah: "Just smile."
I start walking towards her and she starts to back up... all while apparently still snapping pictures of me. Here are the three right before I snatched my phone back.
