Antibiotics all around. What a way to spend the week. First thing Monday morning both kids were at the doctor being told that they had ear infections. Ugh. Meds for the ear, cough medicine, and ear drops... fun. Plus, I had was sick too. I am pretty sure there are few things worse than being sick while having to take care of sick kids, all while your husband is out of town. No thank you. Everyone is doing better... hopefully the nastiness is behind us.

Oh Ryder, he grows and changes so much every single week. I love when I go to get him out of the car and he has fallen asleep but is still holding onto his hanging toy giraffe. Notice how huge he is in that seat. We really need to go get him his big boy one already. I am milking every last inch in the infant one because I am dreading having to unbuckle and take him out of the car seat every time we stop somewhere. It's a sad day when you have to say goodbye to the convenience of the infant carrier. The weather warmed up for a day or two this week, so I got to try some of Ryder's shorts out. Little boy plaid shorts are addicting. I am pretty sure I could get Ryder a pair in every color.

Since Savannah was sick at the beginning of the week, she had to miss school on Tuesday. Total bummer for miss thang... she loves going to school. Even bigger bummer when we she showed up Wednesday and learned that Tuesday had been firefighter day and she missed it. So sad. Luckily, her teachers where thoughtful and grabbed a firefighter hat and sticker badge to give to Savannah when she returned to school. Wednesday evening, since the kids were doing better and the weather was so nice, we went ahead and went to the park for a little bit. Everything was going well and fun was being had by all... that is until Savannah tripped and ate it pretty hard. Her left knee was skinned in two places, nothing to major. The right knee though, was dripping blood and had a decent sized cut. Nothing a few neon band-aids couldn't fix though. Tough girl.

I haven't shared any of Savannah's pictures recently, so I thought I would throw in some from this past week. Since Savannah spent pretty much three full days sick on the couch, she got in a lot of quality itouch time. This also means that a lot of random pictures were taken. The things she finds picture worthy crack me up. 1. "Never say never (NO NEVER!) to a Neverland pirate"... Savannah is in love with this show. 2. She is always snapping pictures of me. Rarely are any of them flattering. 3. Savannah's Valentine's cup from her Mimi. Always full of water and always by her side. 4. Ryder's living room play spot. Since he has been sitting up better and showing more interest in playing, he spends a lot of time on his floor cushion.
