Nothing too special about this picture... I just love that it reminds me so much of me. She pretty much nailed my everyday attire. Jeans, flip-flops, a hoodie, and whenever possible, a ball cap. I swear my high school years were spent in outfits just like this. Plus, it melts my heart to see my little girl sporting baseball gear so proudly. I've said it a thousand times before, I know, but there is nothing better than a girl in a baseball cap. Nothing.
Look who is sitting up... woo hoo!! He still falls over ever now and then. Usually when he is reaching for a toy that is just a little too far away. I love that we are finally getting to play with toys and watch him interact and figure things out without our help. Up next, crawling (maybe).
This girl can tore up her basket of chicken wings. She was covered in sauce. Her dad thought it was awesome. I thought it was pretty nasty. She thought it was quite tasty. I guess that's all that matters.
This past weekend we had a family party to go to. Ryder spent just about the whole day being passed from person to person. At first he wasn't up to so much socializing, but after about an hour he warmed up to everyone and had no problems. He loved being held by Eric's cousin-in-law, Ty. Mostly because of his hat. Ryder couldn't keep his eyes or hands off of it. Ty finally gave in and let Ryder try it on.
This little boy is the most cuddly little man ever. I snapped that picture of Eric and him Sunday morning while they were still playing in bed. The one of me and my little guy was taken by big sis. Savannah is always taking random pictures with my phone.
Last but not least, Valentine's day. 1. Savannah and her ipod themed mailbox before school on Tuesday. 2. Savanna's star wars cards. They were a little time consuming, but well worth it. They turned out so cute. 3. The mailbox. She wanted an Elvis themed one. I found one online that had been made to look like an ipod and thought that it would be super cute with an Elvis twist. We even put some heart earbuds attached to the side of the box. 4. The back of the box... Love Me Tender, Savannah's song choice. Then a heart that she colored, glittered, and wrote Elvis on. 5. The crayon hearts we made for her class goodie bags. Very easy and very cute. 6. All done... Valentine's cards and goodie bags all ready (several days early, yes!) for her class party.

Your little guy looks so cute in that hat! Of course, we don't generally have hats like that in Ontario. We need toques instead. Good work on the Valentine's stuff. That box is great.
That picture of him in the cowboy hat melts my heart, same with the proud little girl on V Day. Cutie patooties for sure!
