This is the first year since I don't know when that I was actually excited about Valentine's Day. I have to say that having a school age kid really brings back the innocence and fun of Valentine's Day. For the last week or so Savannah and I have been doing little crafts here and there to get ready for her school party. She can actually write, so she was able to sign all her cards herself... and she actually came up with a lot of the ideas for her goody bags, mailbox, and cards. It really was fun getting to do all of this with her. I was so happy to hear the excitement in her voice when she was telling me all about her day at school today. I am glad that all our hard work payed off and that she had a wonderful Valentine's Day.

After I dropped Savannah off at school, Ryder and I headed over to see his best baby bud Bella. Today was the first time that the two of them actually sat and played together. It was so funny to watch them playing tug-o-war with the pile of toys in between them. You can tell that Ryder is used to sitting back and watching Savannah play with every toy around. He sat there with Bella, letting her have any toy she wanted and not getting upset at all by it. I love that their little baby personalities are really starting to shine through.
