Saturday was the big season finale for Savannah's soccer team, the Hot Shots. I am so proud of Savannah and her willingness to put herself out there and learn new things. A lot of kids were scared and did not open up at all throughout the season. Luckily Savannah had no problem opening up and allowing her coaches to teach her. She still has a lot to learn about soccer and sports in general... but I am very happy with the improvements she has already made.
Once the game was over the team headed to a local pizza joint for their team party. It was so cute to see all the kids so excited and proud to get a trophy. All of them were holding their trophies so tight and smiling so big. Savannah loves hers so much... the minute we got home she took it to her room and put it in a special place for all to see.
