Every Girl Needs a Princess Party

Saturday we hosted a Belle (Beauty and the Beast) birthday party for Savannah. A couple months back when I asked Savannah what kind of party she wanted she told me a princess party. Alright, cool... that is easy. Well then a few weeks ago when it came time to plan the party I asked her one more time. She had changed her mind and decided that she wanted a Belle birthday. What?? She has never even seen that movie, but okay. Turns out that Belle is not a popular princess and therefore it is very hard to find Belle decorations and such. So, her party in the end was pretty much a Disney Princess party with a few touches of Belle here and there. The party was a lot of fun... Eric and I both agree that it was her best (and most fun) party yet. It was nice and low key and we both got to enjoy ourselves and every minute of the celebration. I'm sure it helped that there was a bounce house that the adults enjoyed as much, if not more than the kiddos. Savannah has been asking and asking for a bounce house. She LOVES to bounce. The look on her face when we opened the back door and she saw a huge princess bounce house was priceless. It was absolutely worth every single penny we payed for it. It entertained the kids and the adults and made Savannah so happy. Awesome! A quick thank you to everyone that came over Saturday to celebrate with us. We love you all and very much appreciate that you were a part of Savannah's special day!

These first pictures are of Savannah messing around the morning of her party. She got a dress-up box full of princess gowns for her birthday. You can imagine what a hit that was. She has been changing outfits the whole weekend. Her favorite is Snow White. You can see in the picture that she is pointing at the Snow White on her banner to show you that she looks like her.

This is Savannah's party invitation. Her Aunt Amanda spent a lot of time putting these together (thank you!). I absolutely love how they turned out. So girly and so Savannah.

These are pictures of the party favors that were given to each girl. I made the flip flops and Aunt Amanda made the matching bows. Savannah of course got the Belle ones. She loves them... she thinks that they are so "pretty". I swear, I have such a girly girl.

Now the party... ENJOY!!
