Christmas in Sunny SD

I can't believe that Christmas has come and gone. Seriously, it flew right by. Thanks to still being stuck o Texas time we were up pretty early (I'm talking 5a.m.). We went ahead and let Savannah have her Santa gifts in the morning and then waited to open the rest of the gifts once my dad arrived. The look on Savannah's face when she walked out of the bedroom and saw the Barbie house was absolutely priceless. After a few minutes of playing with it she stopped and looked at me and said, "Santa remembered. I can't believe it.".... that made me laugh, the fact that she obviously at some point doubted whether or not she would actually get a Barbie house... too cute. The rest of the day was very mellow. We opened the rest of the gifts, had a very delicious Christmas dinner, and then watched some Charger football. It was a great Christmas! Thank you everyone who helped make it so special for us and Savannah. We are very fortunate to have such generous family and friends!

The Barbie house... taller than her

My new favorite picture... she was walking around with her princess wand making everyone disappear.

Playing in her princess tent... she went back and forth between this and the Barbie house. Both gifts were HUGE hits!
Eric took this picture of Savannah giving my dad a thank you hug. It was taken at kind of a strange angle and the lighting was horrible. I tried the picture in B & W and immediately fell in love with it. It's funny how some pictures look so much better in B & W.
