Houston Zoo

Savannah and I are on the road with Eric this week. We have a wedding to go to in Louisiana this weekend and since Eric was going to Houston it didn't make sense for him to have to drive all the way back to Arlington on Friday to just turn around and drive down to the wedding. So here we are... in Houston. This morning we dropped Eric off at the hospital he had to work at and then Savannah and I headed over to the Houston Zoo. Not the greatest zoo I have ever been to... kind of small and not a whole lot of animals. We still managed to have a good time. We checked out all the animals and a couple shoes in the morning then headed back to the hotel for Savannah's nap. When she woke up we went back over to the zoo to play in their water area. For as lame as the Houston Zoo is, I have to give them credit for their awesome Children's Zoo. They have very cool play areas and a lot of animals for the kids to touch and this really fun water area. We spent the rest of the afternoon there and then picked Eric up at work when he got off. So far Houston has been pretty fun... let's see if we can keep it going. Aquarium tomorrow, I think.
