I love this wreath! Mostly because Eric put up no fight when I strayed away from barbwire... literally. We had a barbwire wreath last year. Very cool, but not so much my idea of a Christmas welcome. So this year I went a little more modern and sassy. I love it. I enjoy walking up to our front door when I get home in the evenings.
Our Christmas tree. This year we went faux on the tree front. mostly because of Savannah's allergies and the fact that this was the best way to keep her as healthy as possible. It's sad not to have the Christmas tree smell hit me when I walk in the door... but I am slowly getting over it. I love this tree. It looks so real. I could sit and stare at it all night.

I've gotta give a San Diego shout out! These are two of my favorite ornaments...
Our mantle. Currently the resting place for Christmas cards this year. I want to change that next year. I am hoping to get my hands on a day after Christmas discounted faux tree that we can display our cards on next year. Pay special attention to our stockings. Yes, they are personalized. My G-ma bought them for us last year... a little cheesy, but cute nonetheless.
Ahhhh, my nativity scene. From the Willow Tree collection. I love, love, love the Willow Tree figurines. They are so simple and beautiful. Eric's mom got me this set for my birthday a year or two ago. Probably one of the best gifts anyone has gotten me. I get so excited when it's time to unpack this set. I am however lacking the manger and star. Hopefully I have those by next year. I have done some hard core hinting to Eric about how great those two things would be as a gift. Perfect for any occasion! Until then, you'll have to enjoy the baby Jesus without his manger.
A new addition to the decor this year... an advent calendar. Cute and scrap bookish. I purchased it off Etsy. Some lady made it out of a muffin baking tin. The numbers are held on by magnets and can be removed to reveal a treat which fits perfectly inside the muffin slot. Genius!
The dining area. Savannah loves the little village that we have set up on the hutch. It looks really cool when the lights are off and all you can see is the village pieces moving. She really gets a kick out of that.
We are going to have to add to our village collection so Savannah has new ones to enjoy each year. Here is a close up of one of the pieces we have.
Well, thanks for touring our home. Happy Festivus for the rest of us! (Guzmans... you should remember that quote. Research it if you have to. It might be on Seinfeld scene it next time we play!)
