Somebody has a snazzy new car seat. I'm sure you are wondering why we would replace Savannah's car seat after only having it for about a year. The answer: we were rear ended last week and the other car seat was a little damaged and probably would not have held up in another accident. So, the insurance company of the guy who hit us bought us a new one. Everyone involved in the accident is fine. Luckily Savannah and I were in the truck when this guy hit us. Had we been in a car like him it would have been totaled. This poor guys car was crushed. We were stopped in traffic when he hit us going somewhere between 40 and 50mph. Yikes, right. Thankfully we are all alright. The soreness has gone away, our truck is in the shop, and I got to pick out a new car seat. I love the one I picked... it is a little more of a booster than the last one we had.... not so bulky. The best part, it is black. I regretted our last choice because everything Savannah dropped on it stained. I made a better choice this time around.
