Loves Her Dolls

This week has been full of activity. The days that Savannah went to school were insane this week. They had a book fair kickin' so that made it extra packed and busy up at the school. Luckily she only went three days this week. So I didn't have to deal with all that traffic everyday. The days that Savannah was home... she wore my grandparents out. They are not used to having to keep up with an over active very busy toddler. I could tell that they were happy to see me when I got home. Then on Wednesday we had a special visit from Savannah's Papaw, her grandma Debbie, and her aunt Elizabeth. The three of them were up in Arlington celebrating Elizabeth's birthday so they stopped by in the evening to hang out for a bit. They brought with them a gift for Savannah from her great grandmother in Kentucky. She made Savannah a beautiful quilt. I LOVE it! Savannah is really into blankets and covering things up right now... so this gift came at the perfect time. Thanks Mamaw, we love you! Savannah has also been really into her mini Madame Alexander dolls lately. A while back her aunt Amanda found some old school McDonald's Madame Alexander give aways that she had gotten when she was little. Since then Savannah has been all about these dolls. Plays with them all the time. Soooo, you can imagine how excited we all were when we found out that McDonald's is doing another Madame Alexander give-away. This time they are doing Wizard of Oz themed dolls. They are so cute. There are 12 total, we have collected maybe 6. Our goal is to obviously get them all. Savannah sits in the living room and lines them all up and talks to them it is so funny to watch her with these tiny little dolls.

We love those dolls. I bet Sav. would love the movie, it was Maisy's fav when she was two- we would fast forward the black and white parts and start it when Dorothy was in Oz. It was a great- I'd get so much done while she watched that movie.
