For day two of our three day Disney adventure we headed over to Disney California Adventure. This is my least favorite park out of the two... but I knew that the boys would love it because it has more "thrill" rides... not to mention Cars Land and the Disney Junior characters. Those two things were a pretty big deal to the kids. For the most part the day there went smoothly... the babies were on the same napping schedule, which made it easier for the adults to take turns riding the rides... everything was going great. Good times were being had by all... that was until around 6:30pm when Savannah first complained about her stomach hurting. I figured she had to go to the bathroom... we tried that, it didn't help. She opted not to eat dinner because it was hurting so badly. Around 8:00pm we were starting to get our things together and head over to where the big World Of Color show was happening... I was pushing the stroller with Ryder in it and Eric was carrying Savannah. All of a sudden Eric stopped and made some loud weird noise. He then rushed Savannah over to the dirt flower bed area. it was then that I realized that she had thrown up. Fantastic. She sat there throwing up on and off for a good ten minutes or so. Once she was done we decided that we were going to skip the show and head back to the hotel. We foolishly thought that whatever upset her stomach was out and that she was on the mend. Yeah, not so much. She threw up a bunch more times before we even exited the park and then on and off the entire walk back to the hotel. It only got worse once we got back to the room. Poor girl vomited throughout most of the night. By the morning she was extremely tired, but feeling much much better. We have no idea what exactly she had... food poisoning, a 24 hour stomach bug... no clue. It was miserable though. Thankfully she was able to make it for day three. We told her that she did not have to go and that one of us would stay in the hotel room and rest with her for as long as she wanted. She wanted to go... girl is a serious trooper... she ended up taking a good almost three hour nap in Ryder's stroller around lunch time. Once she woke up from that she was good to go, just like new. I know some grown adults that would not have "manned" up like she did the next day.
Oh "big Buzz" (as Ryder called him)... he was a huge hit. You can't tell it from his face, but Ryder enjoyed seeing him.
YES! Little Woody finally got to meet big Woody. He was excited about this one.
There is some serious photobombing going on in this picture. Thanks guys.
