You can just go ahead and call this past three day weekend a huge teaser. What happened to the days when the Memorial Day weekend was the official kick-off to summer time. Last year Savannah was done with school right before the Memorial Day holiday. This year for some reason she goes a full two weeks after the holiday. Not cool. Waking up this morning to get her ready for school was not fun for any of us. After the swimming and the grilling and the chilling out this past weekend, we are ready for summer now more than ever!
We are officially in countdown mode... days are now being x'ed off the calendar. Woo hoo!
