This past Monday evening Eric's sister Amanda said "I do". The wedding was a pretty low key affair... beautifully done backyard wedding. Ever since Amanda and her fiance Ben announced their engagement, Savannah has been strongly hinting that she "needed to be a flower girl". Every little girls' dream, right. Savannah and her cousin Cheridan pulled off the flower girl job with no problem. The entire wedding ran smoothly. Eric's uncle's backyard was an absolute perfect backdrop for a wedding. Flowers and flowers and more flowers as far as the eye could see. Cheers to the newlyweds on a beautiful wedding and best wishes for an even more beautiful marriage. After all, that's when the real fun starts... wouldn't you agree??
I am sure that this is one of Eric's favorite pictures from the wedding. Such a wonderful picture of him and the kids with their great grandfather.
And this one is even better... Didad is going in for a kiss. He sure loves his grand babies.
Oh the flower girls... such sweet little girls in their matching boots.
I'm by no means a professional photographer, but this picture is perfection. These girls were absolutely impossible to photograph at the wedding. They had no interest in smiling or sitting still. Yet somehow I got this beauty. It will be printed out and framed in our home... absolutely stunning.
The boots. Savannah is obsessed with these boots. They look an awful lot like a pair that I own so that added to her excitement. These boots are special and will be put away and saved once outgrown.
Savannah's new thing... the stoic pose. It was crazy how much she resembled those 1920's serious poses you see in history books. Hello Daisy Buchanan. Only the really cool will get that reference.
The flower girls doing their thang as the bride is escorted in.
OMG!!! A picture of all of us!!!! This is a total rarity. I love it... I will print it... it will be up in the house somewhere.
