Eric and I got out and voted bright and early this morning... turns out Savannah got to vote today too. The first thing she told me when I picked her up today was how they were given these little slips of paper that had a picture of President Obama and (she called him Governor) Romney. She told me that they got to put a check next to one of them and then put them in a box. Then she asked if I voted today (LOVE that my 5 year old wanted to talk about that). I showed her my sticker and told her how it all worked (obviously in kid lingo so she could understand). Then when we got home I let her play with the fun masks I printed off the computer today. She was so excited about them. I hope hope hope she keeps this enthusiasm for our political process. It really is a wonderful thing! Oh, and if you're wondering who she voted for... you'll have to ask her. I told her I wouldn't tell. Let's just say, like mother, like daughter.
