Let me just start off by saying that November has been a rough month. Every single week since the beginning of the month I have been at the doctor with one of the kids for some sort of nastiness. Some weeks it was two times a week... I would take Savannah in on Monday to get seen and then by the end of the week her brother had caught what she had and needed to be seen. Ugh. We went through a minor cold, asthma junk, strep throat (for both the kids), 4 teeth all coming in at once, and to top all that off, our entire family of four came down with an awful stomach bug over the Thanksgiving holiday. Needless to say, I am soooooo ready for November to be done. Looking forward to a healthy fun filled December.
Yes, I did snap pictures during several of our doctor's visits. I had to entertain myself somehow.
Ryder spent a lot of his time this month sleeping. Poor little guy did not feel well at all. He would fall asleep just about anywhere. It got so bad that at one point he was falling asleep standing up.
Some other, more exciting and fun news. Savannah has joined Girl Scouts and I have signed up to be one of her troop leaders. So far we are both loving it. The girls in our troop are so much fun... I am really looking forward to seeing how our year together goes.
Representin' SD... through the good games and the several bad ones we have had.
Girl is obsessed with my faux glasses. I had several pairs of these in our costume box. She found them over Halloween and has never given them back. She likes to wear them all the time.
Very mild fall/winter so far... walking home from school in short sleeves. Picking her up from school is one of my favorite parts of the day. I love hearing her stories from the day. She has a pretty exciting and entertaining school life.
Thanksgiving feast at school before the holiday break. All the kids were dressed up like pilgrims and indians... super cute.
Tuesday night before Thanksgiving (and before the stomach bus struck) we got together with Eric's family. As always, we tried to snap some pictures of the great grandkids with Didad... this rarely goes well. The youngsters of the bunch (Ryder and his cuz Tex) were not enjoying this.
So that's it... November in a nutshell. This has been a good week... everyone is feeling well. Antibiotics are coming to an end. So I have been able to get back into the swing of things. Blogging, Christmas activities, sewing... December is going to rock!
