My first insta-friday back in Texas. A lot has happened this week... a road trip, a 1st birthday, and a lot of party prep. Things are slowly getting back to normal around here.
The night before we left to head back to Texas the kids and I met up with a couple of my girlfriends for fro yo. It was nice to let our kids run around and play so we could chit chat and catch up.
Savannah and Bella... these girls loved hanging out together
The blondes... we joked about the fact that Savannah looked like she belonged in Liz's family with the blondes and Liz's daughter Bella looked like she belonged in my family with the brunettes.
The girls loving on (torturing) Troy.
A glimpse into what our car looked like on the 2 day drive back.
We stopped frequently to stretch our legs at random gas station shops along the way. It was pretty fun to walk around and look at all the totally random items for sale. The kids sombrero was my personal favorite. Funny stuff.
Mister mister turned 1 this past Monday!! He loved his cupcake... he had a very happy first birthday.
A year ago this past monday... Ryder's birth picture. I can't believe that it has been a year already.
I got mixed reviews on these next two pictures... a few did not like that I posted them on instagram/facebook, and some really appreciated the reality of them. Either way... I think it's funny. All you can do is laugh when something like this happens to you in public. I was at the bakery counter ordering Mister's cake for his party and all of a sudden I smelled THE smell. THE nasty yuck smell. I looked over and saw poo all over... all over the cart, all over the floor, all over him... oh crap!! I had to have them call for a cleanup and then head out to the car to get him cleaned up. Nasty... but funny.
Thanks G-ma and G-pa for this birthday gift!! He loves it. It has been the perfect evening activity the past few days.
One of the evenings this week Savannah decided to sneak attack my dad with a water gun. Yeah, this didn't work out so well for Savannah... my dad had the hose... Savannah lost.
