Not A Crawler

So here we are two months away from a year old and mister mister has yet to crawl.  Well, not in the conventional definition of the word.  A couple months back he attempted to crawl on his hands and knees, but he face planted, cut his lip, and cried a lot.  Since then he has come up with his own way to get around the house.  Instead of crawling, he scoots on his butt all over the place.  In his mind I am sure he thinks this technique is easier, I personally think it looks pretty complicated.  When he first started scooting it took him a long time to get from point A to point B... that's not the case anymore.  He is super super fast now.  He just scoots all over the house checking things out, following me around, annoying his sister... it's pretty awesome.  I am pretty confident that he is just never going to be a crawler.  Especially since a week or so ago he started pulling up on things.  He doesn't completely stand yet, but I'm sure that's not too far off.  Once he realizes that he can stand and then walk, I am sure that scooting and NOT crawling will be a thing of the past.
