Another week in the books... a lot of our time was spent outside this week. The weather has been absolutely perfect around here lately. Fingers crossed next week is just as beautiful!
Ryder and Savannah enjoying outdoor time on our new patio furniture. Well, not new... it was given to us by some family friends who no longer needed it. Total score! Now we can eat dinner outside... breakfast and lunch too, for that matter.
Fabric has finally been purchased for Ryder's blanket. I just need to get it made so we can stop using Savannah's over the top girly one for him.
This little man LOVES to swing. He just chills there and takes it all in.
If he's not in the swing while we are outside, then he is usually sitting in the bumbo grabbing as much grass as he can get his hands on.
Practice makes perfect. Eric was in town this week, so Savannah had a chance to play catch with her dad on more than one occasion.
Poor teething baby who is getting over pink eye and an ear infection has not been napping well. That is unless I hold him. So one day I gave in and cuddled with him for an hour or so.
We tried out a new shopping method this past week... Ryder stayed home with Eric and Savannah came along with me. I let her push her own cart, which actually helped me out because my big cart was so full. It was nice to have her there to help. I just might be leaving Ryder at home more often.
He gets so excited or bath time. Seriously happy happy happy about getting a bath.
Savannah's class had a talent show on Thursday. The teacher asked each kid to come up with something special that they could do on their own in front of the class. Savannah chose to hula dance. Random, totally random. She wanted to do the dance from the opening scene of Lilo and Stitch. So I bought the song and she practiced to it over and over. Her teachers told me that she was very into it and quite good.
Mother daughter time at Starbucks. Savannah's doll Sparkle came too. The nice barista at Starbucks played along with the whole doll thing and gave Sparkle her own coffee to drink. It was a pretty fun idea that Savannah really really appreciated.
One of my favorite things... sidewalk chalk art. Especially when done by kids.
