Turkey Day in KY

All day Wednesday was spent in the car... our first long road trip as a family of four. Ryder actually did fantastic. Sleep, eat, smile... repeat. That pretty much sums up little man's time in the car. Savannah was a trooper as well. We got her some fancy headphones so we no longer have to listen to her movies the entire car ride. It was pretty awesome. Seriously the best twenty bucks we've spent here recently. After fourteen hours in the car we arrived in Ky just in time to go to bed and recharge for Thanksgiving. I'm glad we were able to get sleep and rest up, because Thursday was a long day. We had dinner with the entire family at eleven and then house hopped the remainder of the day. I would say that it was a successful day... all family was visited with, Ryder was showered with attention everywhere we went, and Savannah got to play with her "huckeytucky cousins". One day down, four more to go. Looking forward to seeing what else we can squeeze into our visit.
