Bluebonnet Time Again!

It has been a rough week around here... a storm blew through early Monday morning that knocked our power out for two full days. Savannah and I had lots and lots of quality play time together. I am pretty sure Savannah was actually enjoying not having power. Since I had no power that meant no laundry, no sewing, no cooking, no internet... which equals lots of time to play paper dolls, color, paint, play outside, and read books. She was one happy happy little girl. The week did turn out alright though, today we got to go do one of my favorite Texas activities... bluebonnet pictures!! We have the best spot that we go to every year, and I have to say that this year was quite amazing. The entire field was covered... It's the best I've seen since moving here. Savannah was in heaven out there with all the flowers and butterflies. She ran around like a crazy child trying to catch them. I did manage to snap a few good shots of her and her bestest bud baby Lauren. Babies are so much easier to take pictures of... big girls want to do strange poses and smile all funny. Hopefully she outgrows the photography awkwardness pretty soon.
