Oh crazy crazy week. This first picture pretty much sums up what we have been dealing with around here. Our poor little man has been in some serious pain. On top of two more teeth coming through, we found out at his 9 month check-up that mister mister has a severe build up of fluid in both his ears. He has been treated for several ear infections in the last few months and apparently the last one he had never went away. Eric and I have had a feeling that something was wrong for a couple weeks now... Ryder isn't sleeping well at all and when he is awake he has been especially clingy and is always rubbing and messing with his poor little ears. So I wasn't totally shocked by what the doctor told me. The worst part about it all is that for the time being there is nothing that can be done about the fluid or the pain he is in. We have to give it a couple weeks and see if the fluid drains on it's own. If it doesn't then we will go see an ear, nose, and throat doctor and go from there. So for now, lots and lots of prayers and happy happy thoughts for our little man.
Last Saturday night Savannah went and spent the night with her cousin JJ. JJ's mom sent me several pictures throughout the night so I could see what the girls were up to. It looks like they had a pretty good time... jumping, cooking, coloring, bathing... you name it, they did it. The two of them talked on the phone a few days later and were already planning their next sleepover.
T-ball and soccer are quickly coming to an end. Two more games to go and then we are done for the season. Everything this time around has just flown by.
I'm pretty sure that Ryder thinks his big sister is pretty crazy. He just sat there looking at her and laughing while she ran around the yard dressed like a fairy. Savannah is always dressing up as something or another, so you would think that he would be used to her craziness by now.
Ryder and his cousin Tex. These boys are going to get into some serious trouble when they are older. Can't you just tell by looking at them. Yes, they are wearing matching shirts. No, it was not planned. They just have really cool moms who have really awesome taste in clothing.
I love Savannah's toes when they are all painted up and pretty. I hate when they are all chipped and nasty... which usually happens within two days of me painting her toes. Ugh.
Nope, your eyes are not playing tricks on you... my little girl is wearing a Cowboys jersey. Boo, hiss!! How could I tell her no though... she thinks it is the greatest thing ever. Especially sine it used to belong to her little friend Lucy. Lucy is always so sweet an passes down clothes and other fun stuff to Savananh. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a lover of the hand me downs. Saves me time and most importantly, money. Heck yeah! I welcome just about anything that someone is generous enough to want to pass on to Savannah. Well, almost anything. I am NOT a fan of this jersey. Unfortunately it's here to stay.

I love how the paint coordinates with the sandals, super fun.
Sorry about the little man. I have been wondering about my own little guy, if he has something going on with an ear. It seems to remain so waxy (if that is even a word) that it's on the outside of his ear. Maybe I should have him checked. I've just been waiting for his appt next month.
