Let's GLOW Rangers

I am a sucker for free family friendly events. Especially ones that are crazy unique. A week or so ago I came across this event that the Rangers and the city of Arlington were hosting... they were trying to make the Guinness Book Of World Records for the most people spelling out a word with glow sticks. Seriously, who thinks of this stuff. It's a totally ridiculous idea, which is probably why I instantly added it to my calendar. So last Friday night we (Savannah, Missy, and myself) headed out to the ballpark to participate in spelling out the word Rangers in glow sticks. I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to come out. It didn't seem like there were enough people there to make it visible from the sky. They had helicopters circling above taking pictures of us. It actually came out pretty cool... pictures were posted online a day or so later of the final product. I was impressed. Yay for us... hopefully it makes the record books!
