Park and Painting

Park time has become a big part of our routine around here... with the weather cooling down in the evenings it has been very easy for Savannah to convince me to take her to the play for a few hours. I'm telling you, for all you parents out there that have little energy balls for children, take them to the park and let them run around for an hour or so. It makes a world of difference, plus bedtime comes quick and easier than normal.

When Savannah and I got back from the park on Friday Eric was sitting at the kitchen table waiting to paint with Savannah. While I cooked dinner the two of them sat there painting together. You'll never guess what the father/daughter duo painted. Scroll down and you can see their wonderful work of art.

Tada!! Eric and Savannah's masterpiece... a portrait of our dog Mae Mae going poop. I paint kites and butterflies with Savannah, not animals pooping. Leave it to a daddy to come up with this.
