No Jacket!!

Finally a BEAUTIFUL day. We have had so much rain and gloom the last couple of weeks so most of our playing has been done inside. That awesome swing set of Savannah's has just sat in the backyard getting flooded... literally. Every piece of ground around that swing set is like a wetland. That didn't stop Savannah though. She put on a pair of shorts and her rain boots and then headed outside to play... no jacket necessary.



These next two pictures are of what Savannah's room looked like for the last couple of days. Here lately Savannah has not been wanting to clean up her toys after playing. In the past she would play with one thing and then put it away when she was done or when she wanted to play with something different. That is our rule. For some reason she has decided to test that rule. On Wednesday I asked her to clean up her toys before she took a nap. She told me that she did not want to. I told her that if she didn't want to clean up her toys than maybe she did not need any toys. She then told me to "throw her toys away". Oooooh, I was so mad. She got spanked, but in bed, and then I took all her toys away. I bagged and taped all her toys so that she could not play with them. When she woke up from her nap she begged me for the toys back. I explained to her why she did not have them and told her that she would get them back once she started appreciating her stuff. Finally today (on her own) she came and told me that she "changed her mind and that she loved her toys and would clean them up" and that she was "sorry". So today she got her toys back... so far so good, we haven't had any problems with clean-up yet.
