For My Dad

So last week my dad and I were talking on the phone and he asked what I had been working on(sewing) for Savannah lately. He mentioned that I had not posted any pictures of finished products recently... so, this weekend I took pictures of Savannah wearing two of her new dresses.

The first one I made out of an awesome Star Wars shirt that I found at Wal-Mart for $3.00 and some scrap shirts/fabric that I already had. I made it a size big so she can get a lot of wear out of it. I feel like she outgrows everything I make her so quickly. This beauty will fit her for a long time.

The second is one of the first halter/tie back dresses that I have ever made. The first did not come out so great, but this one came out great. The fabric is awesome! I found it at some random little fabric store in San Diego the last time I was out there. I was saving it for something special and a little sassy. This was prefect... it is lightweight and perfect for summer. Or a day like today... as long as you wear a shirt under it.
