Scotty's Saints WIN!!

In the words of Savannah, "our football party was AWESOME!"... good to know that my daughter enjoys a good party. Eric (and by default, me) won the honors of throwing the super bowl party for our friends. Let me explain, we play in a fantasy football league with our group of friends. First place gets all the money and last place gets to host that years super bowl gathering. This season Eric was the lucky last place finisher. We actually had a lot of fun with this party. Eric's best bud Scott is a huge Saints fan, so that made this party a little more special. Eric decided that he wanted to have a New Orleans/Mardi Gras themed party. We had very yummy cajun dishes to eat and the entire house was covered in beads. It was very festive! I even made Savannah a Saints dress to wear in support of her uncle Scotty. Savannah adores Scotty... she was so excited to show him her special Saints outfit. Don't worry, she is still a Charger fan... this was a one time occurrence. Though, she loved the dress so much that she wanted to sleep in it and then when she woke up this morning she wanted to wear it still. The party itself was a lot of fun... even better because the Saints won! Savannah was great the whole day. Eric and I are really lucky that she is so well behaved at parties. She was not one of those crazy kids running around screaming and ruining the game for everyone. She even went to bed on her own during the third quarter. I am so thankful that Savannah is such a fun, (and typically) a really good kid.
