Potty Training Revisited

Now that the holidays and traveling and birthdays are over I have turned my focus back to getting Savannah potty trained. She was doing really good at the end of last year, but then I made the mistake of using pull-ups more frequently than panties and she got a little too comfortable having "accidents". We had so much going on, and I hate to say it, but it really was easier to fall back on pull-ups. She still used the potty... just not as often as she should've been. So this week we went back to panties all day and a pull-up at night. So far so good. She has the peeing down... going number two though, that's a different story. Our only accident this week was poo in the pants. Yuck! I will be so happy when all of her business is going into the toilet. We spent pretty much the entire week at home getting reacquainted with her princess potty. We did head to the park one afternoon for a little play time... but other than that we have been at home.



It has been raining all day today. The minute that Savannah woke up and saw the rain she wanted to go outside and play in it. When I asked her why she loved the rain so much she said, "because I can wear my rain boots". She didn't get to go run crazy in the rain like she wanted to, but I did let her stand on the front porch and catch some rain drops. Silly girl thought that was the greatest thing.
