Almost 3!!

It's officially birthday week around here! Not that Savannah understands what that means yet... one day though, I am sure she will take full advantage of the week long celebration. For now, it's the same old routine around here. Savannah has been very independent lately... she goes in her room, closes the door, and plays for hours at a time. The other day I found that she had set up camp on the floor in our room. When I asked her what she was doing she said that she was teaching her little girl how to read.

This wig was part of a dress up kit that Savannah Banana got for Christmas. She loves to wear it around the house. The other day she wanted to wear it out to the store.... umm, not so much. I think that the wig is kind of creepy.
Today I went in Savannah's room to check on her... I found her sitting on the floor in front of her Barbie house singing happy birthday. When I asked her who she was singing to she told me that the little girls were having a birthday party for her (Savannah). I had to take a picture of this exact scene that Savannah had created. She had food on the table and all the girls gathered around. It was so cute!
