Take a quick minute and look at the two pictures below. After looking at those what would you guess Savannah and I spent our day doing.... first guess: no, we were not collecting trash around the neighborhood. Second guess: yes, we did rake up all the leaves in our front yard. WOW! Talk about a lot of work. We started at around one this afternoon... I actually thought that it was going to be a quick chore. Ha! Four and a half hours later we were all done. Believe it or not, Savannah was a lot of help. I raked the piles and she followed behind me putting the piles into the trash bag. She actually thought this was fun. You gotta love how chores can seem so fun and exciting to a child.
This was earlier today before we started raking. Savannah insisted on wearing her Tinker Bell dress. Since it is winter here and spaghetti straps pretty much don't cut it I insisted that she put on some leggings and a long sleeve shirt. This is the finished product. At first I laughed at her choices, but after seeing it on I really liked it. She has an eye for fashion.
She always wants to pose in front of the tree. Whenever I say "let me take your picture" she runs over to the tree and says "here"... alright. Good thing Christmas trees look so good in pictures.
