A Very Merry Unbirthday To Cheridan

Today was Cheridan's birthday party. Being so close to Halloween it was of course a costume party. Savannah and I were both very excited to get to wear our costumes! I have been working on them for weeks. I have to say that I am very happy with how they turned out... homemade costumes rock! They have so much more character, and you can tweak anything to make it more you. Savannah looked so dang pretty as Alice. That color blue looks amazing on her. I loved the dress and even better, she LOVED it. Originally when we came up with these costume ideas Eric was supposed to join in on the fun and be the Mad Hatter. He backed out at a few weeks ago. Thankfully aunt Amanda and baby Cheridan stuck to our Alice in Wonderland theme. Amanda was the white rabbit and Cheridan was the cheshire cat. Awesome, right... I know. The party was a success. All of the kids that were there enjoyed themselves. There was a ton of sweets and cool decorations... kids really don't need anything more than that.

P.S. Linda, thank you so much for all the help with Savannah's costume. There is no was I would have survived that pattern without you!

The Queen of Hearts and Alice.
Savannah called this her "underland"(wonderland) dress.
Queen of Hearts, Alice, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit
Instead of the Mad Hatter we got Bob Stoops... yeah, really.
