A Summer Bug

The weekend started off pretty good, but then it took a slight turn onto sick street on Saturday morning. Savannah woke up with some congestion on Saturday, nothing too serious so we thought it was just allergies. The weather here has been all over the place recently so we weren't too shocked. Saturday night things started to get worse. Her asthma started to kick in and she was running a fever. A very high and scary fever. When we woke up Sunday morning things had not gotten ant better. Poor girl was so out of it. She laid around the house all day, still running fever, throwing up, and not breathing well. To top it off she wouldn't eat anything. She went all day and half of today without eating. We went to the doctor today and it turns out that her right tonsil is very swollen and there is a little water in her ears. The doctor figured that she had some sort of bug and prescribed her some meds and requested that we come back in three weeks to do a follow up. Since the doctor appointment Savannah has been acting a lot more like herself. She has been playing and ate most of her dinner. Hopefully this bug is just about out of her system.
