Tutu Success!

Ever since our trip to Disneyland my world has been all princess all the time.  Savannah's new favorite movie is Enchanted, her new favorite dance is twirling like a princess (her words), and her new favorite activity is dressing up in anything frilly and princessey (not a word, I know) that she can find.  She recently found her orange tutu from Halloween and she has been wearing it nonstop.  The girl slept in it last night.  So, I decided to take advantage of this phase in her life by finally learning how to make a tutu.  Tutus are crazy expensive at those cute little trendy boutiques and I really just could not understand why.  I have been meaning to try to make one for a while but have no real motivation to do so until now.  After one night of watching tutu tutorials on youtube I completed not just one, but two tutus.  I wasn't sure what length would look good on Savannah so I made two.  For the record... these are so EASY to make and even better it cost next to nothing!  Tulle is cheap and so is elastic... I spent less than $10 to make the two I did and I still have a lot of tulle left.  Seriously, if you would like your own patriotic tutu for your little girl to celebrate the 4th in, let me know.  I would hate for this tulle to go to waste.
