On Sunday afternoon we headed down to the Stockyards so my dad could do some shopping. We took a quick break to let Savannah take her turn on the pony ride.

On Monday Savannah's Mimi stopped by with a surprise for her. Savannah now has her very own glider/swing for the backyard. Seeing Savannah have so much fun playing on it made me forget what a headache it was to put together. She has been spending a lot of time playing with her dolls on it. Notice that in the second picture she is holding her doll's hand... when I asked Savannah why she was holding the baby's hand she said it was because the "baby was scared to swing". Too funny.

I took this picture last night before I went to bed. I went to check on Savannah and just could not resist. The was she had her hands placed under her face... it looked posed. I did not think that kids (outside of the movies) slept like that. She just looked so sweet.
Look who's swinging in her swing now... it only took a year. I don't know how my grandpa did it, but somehow he got Savannah to swing. She came running in the house to tell me that she was not scared anymore.
