We have been home almost a week now. Things are slowly falling back into place. She has been running all over the house playing with all of her long lost toys. She was so excited to be in her room with her kitchen and dolls... I give her one more week before the shine has worn off those toys and she is standing at my feet needing me to entertain her. Which leads me to my next dilemma... what to do with her this summer. It really stinks trying to come up with fun stuff to do with a kiddo in a city you are not too familiar with. I am open for suggestions!

This is what I was doing last summer! Two kids ready to drive me crazy all summer- so I made a folder of ideas to do during the summer.
The funnest thing I can tell you is most movie theaters have weekly movies (not new releases, but kids movies from last year or so) in the mornings for $1.
I also looked up the story times of libraries around us to take the kids to.
We love to walk around stores, so one day we drove out to Cabela's, because they have so many stuffed animals- my kids loved it! I know that weird, but they liked it!
I shopped the dollar section of Target and cheap stuff at Michael's to do crafts with the kids.
There is a Wiggles Play Center in Frisco (about an hour away) if she's into them at all. It's supposed to be really cool, and its not expensive.
The Children's museum is really cool. They are doing some major renovations on it, but there is a hands-on area that all kids LOVE. It's on Montgomery St. off of I-30.
Sorry this is like a million words long, but I totally feel your pain so I wanted to give you some ideas! And let me know if you find something cool to do- I am always looking for new ideas!!!
