Savannah says/does the darndest things

Savannah is in that "kids say the darndest things" stage. Most of the things she is doing lately she has picked up from me and Eric. There are a few things that she does that leave me asking myself, "where the heck did she learn that??". Anyhow, I figured that I would go ahead and list some of the very cute and yet slightly annoying things that our sweet Savannah has been doing as of late.

1. When we are at the drive thru she repeats our order as we are ordering. It goes something like this...
Eric: I would like a cheeseburger
Savannah: (yelling) cheeseburger
Eric: A medium diet coke
Savannah: (still yelling) diet coke
Eric: Small fries
Savannah: Fries
You get the idea. Eric and I can't help but laugh... it sounds very "Rain Man". I'm sure the drive thru workers love it.

2. She is a backseat driver! When I am driving she will sit in her car seat and tell me to "slow down" and to "watch out". She says over and over, "Mommy driving car. Mommy need to slow down."... this makes me want to scream. She thinks it is very funny though.

3. She calls her thighs "fat thighs". Not just hers either, everybody has "fat thighs" according to Savannah. We will be in the store and I will be pushing her in the cart and she will try to grab at my legs while saying (very loudly), "I get your fat thighs mom". I do know where she learned this one. Eric likes to pinch her thighs and he calls them her "fat thighs". Thanks daddy!

4. She tells me and Eric that she is pretty. Or that something she is wearing is pretty. Whenever she puts clothes on or gets her hair done she walks over to the full length mirror we have in the entry hall to look at herself. She then tells me and Eric, "that baby girl is pretty". She will take stuff out of my closet and say, "I love it... I be like mommy". Then she puts it on. We have a serious diva on our hands.

5. It doesn't matter where we are or what we are doing, if we say "pose" our little girl strikes a pose. Tonight after her bath she was in her room playing kitchen, I walked in and said "pose" and this is what I got. Fierce!

Too cute!!! Yes, you have a diva on your hands- I know because I have one on my hands, too!!!
Dino World is in Glen Rose, right next to the Dinosaur Valley State Park.
The aquarium is awesome!! My husband is like that, too- about Dallas. We are MAJOR Fort Worth snobs, but that is one thing we will go to. It is just so cool, and the animals are not ones you see anywhere else!!!
