My Little Egg Hunter

Savannah participated in her first Easter egg hunt of the season today. Yes, I am comparing Easter egg hunting to a sports season. Why you ask... because it is very competitive out there. Kids are cut throat when it comes to little plastic eggs filled with candy. Worse than the kiddos, the parents. Pushing their kids towards every single egg in sight paying no attention to the smaller kids who might not be as quick or as skilled in the art of hunting eggs. Maybe I need to coach Savannah bit. We have another hunt next Saturday and I don't want my little girl to get pushed around again. What do you all think?? Do your kids have battle scars from the crazy aggressive Easter egg hunts out there?

After dinner tonight I thought it would be nice to go get some ice cream together. Eric is gone and Savannah and I were both missing him today... nothing cheers you up like some cake batter ice cream mixed with some gummy bears. So we went to Cold Stone. Savannah was so cute. She sat at the little table eating her ice cream and saying "hi" to everyone that came through the door. She kept telling me, "Mama, everybody coming for ice cream".

This is what Savannah looks like with a BRAIN FREEZE
