Dallas World Aquarium
Today Savannah and I headed over to the Dallas World Aquarium. I have to say that I was very impressed with this place. I tend to not be so excited about these types of places because I grew up in a city that has the coolest aquarium/wildlife exhibits. This place was pretty cool though. You start off in a rain forest area with birds flying everywhere. From there you walk down to the aquarium... along the way there are all sorts of really cool things to see. Savannah and I did several laps of the place. We went through once with her in her stroller so I could see what I was dealing with. Once I knew what to expect I let her walk through the place. She loved it. She was very excited to see everything. She is such a smart and observant little girl. She was going nonstop... pointing out everything that she saw. There were a few times when she got a little scared. She was not so sure about the shark exhibit. She would stop and look but as soon as a shark would get up close to the glass she freaked. Her favorite things: the manatees, all the different fish tanks, the birds, and of course the flamingos.
