Pajama Day!

Today was Pajama Day at Savannah's school. Sounds fun, right? Not so much to a two year old who associated pj's with bed time. I changed her diaper like normal and then went to change her into new clothes (pajamas) for the day and she freaked. She was screaming "I don't wanna go night night mama!"... it took a good 10 minutes for me to calm her down and somewhat explain what was going on. She stopped crying when I said "you are having a pajama party at school". Apparently all you have to do is throw the word PARTY into the mix and it fixes everything.

Look who is going to have a matching baby doll for the wedding! I managed to make a positive out of our minor dress drama. I tried Savannah's flower girl dress on her last week... only to be extremely disappointed and frustrated. Savannah had lost weight. Due to all the recent sickness she has not been eating well and I knew she was going to lose some weight. I never thought that it would be enough to really notice. Wrong! Her wedding dress was now too big. Thankfully Savannah's Mimi was able to figure out a way to take it in so that it would fit for the big day. Rather than wasting all the tulle that was taken out of Savannah's dress, I decided to make a matching one for her baby to wear at the wedding. FUN!
