Web Cam

For Christmas we gave my grandpa a web cam. I wasn't sure how he was going to react to the gift. I am not even sure if he knew there was such a thing. Thankfully he loved the idea of getting to see us (Savannah really) on a regular basis. It took a few days, but I think we have finally worked out all the kinks. After a few test runs between me and my grandpa we were all set to let Savannah join the conversations. She immediately recognized my grandpa and started waving to him and talking. Who knew that a web cam would be such a huge hit with a toddler. She gets so excited when I say, "want to go talk to grandpa on the computer?". I am sure that the web cam will become a very regular activity in our home. In fact, Eric wants to go get one for him to take on the road so Savannah can see him when he is gone. Isn't technology awesome!

The web cam also takes still photos. Here we are trying out that feature.
