Some really cute fabric that I bought months back was finally put to good use. When I bought this fabric I had every intention of making a dress of some sort for Savannah. Well, as you know I wound up joining the working world again which means that my stay at home mom sewing time kind of flew out the window. So the fabric just sat for months. Until I found out that Savannah's grandma Debbie knows how to sew and was actually in the process of making some stuff for Savannah. While she was over at the house one day I was showing her several fabrics that I had. I pulled out some patterns and we got to talking about how cute these would look as dresses for Savannah. She then graciously offered to sew the dresses for me since I am now so busy with other activities. Thank you, thank you, thank you! What a genius idea! Plus, turns out she is super talented and quick when it comes to sewing. She finished one of the dresses in time for her most recent visit. Savannah wore the little jumper she made to school the day after she gave it to us. I could not wait to put Savannah in it. Thanks so much grandma Debbie... I love the dress! I can't wait to see what else you come up with!
Here is Savannah in her new Bad to the Bone jumper. Who said skulls and cross bones weren't for girls??
