Funny story... so, remember a few weeks back when Eric and I left for the weekend to go to the wedding. OK, so I flew out a day earlier than Eric did. Since I was not home he took Savannah to school that Friday. When he picked her up he forgot to get the upcoming week newsletter from Savannah's cubby. At the time, no big deal. Typically, nothing huge is going on. This was also around the time that Savannah was doing her breathing treatments... because of that she missed school that Monday after we returned to go to her follow up appointment with Dr. Raine. We wake up Tuesday morning and go about our normal business... eat, dress, cartoons, leave for school/work. When we get to school I take Savannah to her class to drop her off. Funny thing is... when I opened the door to her class all the other kids there were dressed up. I'm talking foo foo satin dresses, big huge bows in ever girls hair, polo shirts tucked into little boy khakis... basically attire that is never worn to school. Savannah on the other hand was wearing black yoga/sweat pants, pink tennis shoes, and.... here's the kicker, a beat up Bob Marley t-shirt. I put Savannah down with her friends and walk over to ask her teacher why all the kids were dressed so fancy. This is where Eric forgetting to pick up the newsletter from the cubby the Friday before comes back to bite us in the you know what. Turns out that it just so happened to be picture day. What the H E double hockey sticks... my daughter is wearing a Bob Marley rasta colored shirt. Poor Savannah... I could not believe that this is what she was going to be wearing for her first school photo. Embarrassing. Anyhow, I am telling you this story because the pictures came in today. They actually are really good pictures of Savannah... her outfit just sucks. Sorry Savannah!

Hey all I can say is when they are doing a senior video in the way distant future and they are showing the baby pictures, This will pay off big! It will be a bunch of foo foo kids and then BAM Savannah in a Bob Marley T-Shirt priceless and I bet she gets the biggest reaction. This happened to me I came to school in first grade in a green t-shirt with some army logo and jeans. Cracks me up till this day! Get that girl some steel drums!
