Head In The Game, Finally.

It took several seasons and a lot of practice (and frustration), but something has finally clicked for Savannah.  She has turned into a consistent player out there on the field.  She went from rarely ever getting a hit to almost always getting a hit when she is up to bat.  She has also figured out the fielding and where the force play is and where she needs to be.  The amount of improvement this girl has made is pretty awesome.  Even better, she knows that she has improved and she knows it is because she didn't quit… she kept practicing and trying.  Great lesson for any kid.

These next few pictures our my favorite from her tournament this past weekend.  She was running from second to third as fast as she could trying to beat out the play.  I hate that some of them get blurry at the end… but you can still see how close it was.  She beat out the play by a second.

Look at her coach in the corner looking on to see if she was safe or if she was out.  Awesome.

Then a little pat on the helmet for a job well done.

Seriously, is she not the cutest little base runner you have ever seen….
